Acupuncture

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing systems in the world, developed thousands of years ago to restore balance in the body.

By gently inserting hair-thin, sterile needles at specific points, acupuncture helps regulate the flow of qi (vital energy) through pathways called meridians. When energy moves freely, the body can return to its natural state of balance and heal itself.

Is Acupuncture Safe?

Absolutely. Acupuncture is used safely by millions of people every year. Licensed acupuncturists complete years of clinical training, national board certification, and state licensure. They are also required to complete regular continuing education to maintain an active license.

As required by law, Dr. Mark uses only single-use, pre-sterilized needles and follows Clean Needle Technique standards to ensure your complete safety.
